VP, Business Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the Information Systems (IS) roadmap.

• Manage the current IS team effectively.

• Facilitate a process for receiving and prioritizing system requests.

• Lead the assessment, execution, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise applications across General & Administrative (G&A), Go-to-Market, and Customer Success departments.

• Supervise systems including NetSuite, Salesforce, DealHub, CaptivateIQ, ZIP, Gong, and Monday.

• Oversee Workato integrations and data flows among various systems.

• Establish integration ownership, monitoring protocols, and recovery processes.

• Create a governed data platform that merges product usage data with business system data.

• Provide automated reporting on Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), profit margins, and product adoption metrics.

• Take ownership of master data and shared metric definitions.

• Streamline recurring manual tasks across Finance and other departments through automation.

• Assist less technical teams in developing and utilizing AI agents.

• Design comprehensive end-to-end processes in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, including quote-to-cash and procure-to-pay workflows.

• Establish policies, standards, and procedures for system usage, access, and change management.

• Conduct access reviews and enforce segregation-of-duties controls.

• Maintain systems that are ready for audits.

• Manage vendors, licensing agreements, renewals, and technology budgets.

• In the first year, successfully implement DealHub CPQ from start to finish, map systems and integrations, launch the initial phase of the data platform, select and implement a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) planning system, and deliver automation and AI initiatives with quantifiable hours saved.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Information Systems, Enterprise Applications, or Business Systems, including more than 3 years in a leadership role.

• Demonstrated ability to manage teams across various locations and oversee systems across multiple business functions.

• Practical knowledge of system integrations, APIs, workflow automation, and integration platforms such as Workato.

• Experience in leading system implementations, including at least one complete ERP, CPQ, or quote-to-cash deployment.

• Proven track record in defining technology roadmaps and managing vendor relationships.

• Experience in constructing a data platform or reporting layer, including establishing shared metric definitions.

• Hands-on experience applying AI tools and agents within business processes.

• Familiarity with internal controls and audit readiness (SOX or similar) in multi-entity, multi-currency organizations.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.

• Strategic mindset paired with a practical, hands-on approach; capable of independently building workflows.
