This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design and execute risk-based AI/GenAI auditing strategies that are in line with the Bank's AI objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct audits spanning the AI/ML lifecycle, which includes data sourcing, training, validation, deployment, monitoring, retraining, and decommissioning.
• Deliver assurance regarding AI governance, model risk management, ethics, fairness, bias, explainability, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Audit GenAI/LLM applications, including RAG pipelines, fine-tuning processes, prompt engineering, guardrails, vector databases, and output validation.
• Evaluate AI cybersecurity threats such as adversarial attacks, prompt injection, data poisoning, model theft, and jailbreaks.
• Assess risks associated with third-party AI, specifically focusing on foundation model providers and cloud AI platforms.
• Ensure compliance with AI and data regulations, including those from CBUAE, QCB, SBP, RBI, and UAE PDPL.
• Audit the application of AI in areas such as credit, AML/fraud, KYC, chatbots, personalization, trading, and operational automation.
• Prepare and present audit findings to the Board Audit Committee, the Group Chief Executive Officer, and senior management.
• Assist in the Internal Audit AI transformation through ongoing auditing, GenAI-enabled audit tools, and upskilling the audit team.
• Mentor, coach, and develop members of the AI audit team.
• Collaborate on integrated audits with expertise in AI and technology across the Bank.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, AI, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• At least 10–12 years of experience in IT audit, technology risk, model risk, or AI/data governance.
• Minimum of 3–4 years specifically dedicated to AI/ML or GenAI risk, governance, or auditing.
• Experience in the banking sector is preferred.
• CISA certification is required or must be obtained within 12 months of employment.
• A solid understanding of supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement, and deep learning, as well as NLP and computer vision.
• Familiarity with foundation models, transformers, embeddings, RAG, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, agentic AI, and multimodal AI.
• Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, Mistral, and open-source models.
• Proficiency in Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock/SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, Databricks, Hugging Face, LangChain, and vector databases.
• Knowledge of AI governance and risk management frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities focused on emerging AI risks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suitable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including the Board.
