VP, Agentic AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Lead the development of Nuitée's innovative agentic AI functionalities for searching, booking, paying for, and managing hotel accommodations.

• Make decisions regarding what to develop and guide technical and product strategies.

• Engage directly with the technology to transform concepts into products that can be utilized by real AI agents.

• Report directly to the CEO.

• Establish the direction of the project with considerable autonomy.

• Assemble a small, agile team.

• Collaborate across Nuitée's current Connect and Cloud platforms.

• Enhance existing functionalities and innovate new capabilities for an agent-driven travel industry.

• Design secure, agent-oriented APIs and MCP tools.

• Facilitate dependable hotel search, booking, payment, modification, and cancellation processes.

• Manage transaction failures and keep travelers updated.

• Recognize commercial prospects and convert customer challenges into product solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive software engineering background, preferably as a technical founder, CTO, or hands-on engineering leader.

• Capability to personally design and create intricate systems.

• Experience in developing agentic AI systems, ideally with real-world deployment and users.

• Knowledge of reliability, evaluation methods, and failure management.

• Proven experience in advancing products from initial concepts to production.

• Proficiency in making both technical and product-related decisions.

• Skill in identifying commercial opportunities and comprehending customer needs.

• Strong history of creating successful products or technologies in demanding startup, scaleup, or high-scale engineering contexts.

• Comfort with rapid movement, cross-team collaboration, and building a small function from the ground up.

• Experience with API platforms, marketplaces, payment systems, or travel technology is advantageous.
