This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Instruct doctoral-level courses within the Doctor of Philosophy in Artificial Intelligence program, either online or in a residency format as designated.

• Uphold instructional excellence that aligns with course objectives, accreditation standards, and program outcomes.

• Engage in the development of curriculum, assessment, and ongoing program enhancement.

• Offer academic advising and mentorship to doctoral candidates.

• Take part in faculty meetings, program initiatives, and service activities within the university.

• Collaborate with program leadership to foster student success, retention, and professional preparedness.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by the Dean and Program Director.

• Adhere to other duties and follow the policies outlined in UC’s Faculty Handbook.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills along with strong oral and written communication capabilities.

• Proficient in effectively utilizing Blackboard.

• Skilled in using standard office and mobile applications.

• Expertise in Statistics, Python Programming, R Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, or Deep Learning.

• Possession of a Doctoral/PhD degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Applied Computing, or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of experience teaching online at the university level in doctoral courses.

• Ideally, applicants should hail from an institution that is regionally accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

• A minimum of 18 doctoral semester credit hours in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and/or Data Science.

• Candidates must be located in the U.S.
