This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Act as a financial planning and estate planning specialist for Fidelity’s high net worth clients and their advisors.
• Oversee complete financial and estate planning projects.
• Employ eMoney and other planning tools to provide thorough client solutions.
• Collaborate with an Advanced Planning Analyst to assist with complex planning client engagements across a specific geographic area.
• Engage with clients and advisors at investor centers throughout the region.
• Work together with the Advanced Planning team both virtually and in-person.
• Enhance and sustain the team's overall impact on clients.
• Manage a designated territory and promote engagement with high-net-worth clients.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Convey complex topics clearly and effectively.
• Fidelity will not offer immigration sponsorship for this role.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 13–15 years of overall professional experience.
• Minimum of 7 years in trusts and estate planning, income tax planning, or succession planning within a public accounting, legal practice, or wealth management sector.
• FINRA Series 7 and 66 must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Knowledge in retirement, financial, investment, and insurance planning is essential.
• Proficiency in estate planning, family wealth transfer planning, wills/trusts, income taxation, and trust and estate taxation is required.
• Capability to create and evaluate financial plans using tools like eMoney.
• Ability to work autonomously and lead a designated territory to enhance engagement with high-net-worth clients.
• Skill in mentoring and developing junior team members.
• Proven ability to articulate complex subjects in a clear and effective manner.
• Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with clients and their advisors.
• A client-first mindset and a practical approach to delivering planning solutions.
• Competence in managing competing priorities and balancing multiple tasks while ensuring efficiency.
• Positive, professional demeanor with a thoughtful approach to achieving successful client outcomes.
• CPA, JD, M.T., LLM in taxation, CFA, or CFP® designation preferred.
• Experience with business owners and start-ups/Pre IPO companies is advantageous.
