This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversee and enhance social media communication efforts on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Consistently monitor chosen social media accounts within the humanist, civil society, and sociopolitical domains.
• Identify appropriate content for reposting and additional editorial tasks.
• Conduct research on pertinent topics, ongoing discussions, and awareness days.
• Generate concepts for original social media content and formats.
• Prepare and create posts, Stories, and Reels.
• Tailor content for target audiences on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Design and modify graphics and simple videos using tools like Canva.
• Assist with editorial planning.
• Share your own ideas and experiences to foster the ongoing development of social media communications.
• Collaborate closely with the national office.
• Hands-on experience with social media and a solid understanding of content and formats suitable for various platforms.
• Experience in creating or managing social media content either professionally, as a volunteer, or through personal channels, associations, initiatives, or projects.
• A keen awareness of relevant topics, engaging content, and contemporary social media formats.
• An interest in sociopolitical issues along with alignment to humanist values and human rights.
• Strong language abilities with excellent written and spoken German.
• Proficient in widely used digital tools.
• A structured, independent, and reliable approach to work.
• Familiarity with Canva or similar applications is a plus.
• Additional experience with Reels and short-form video, community management, social media strategy, or social media analytics is advantageous.
