Voice Recording Specialist – English-French Background

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Haiti, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Participate in a brief, guided English voice-recording task from a remote location.

• Read and record short conversational prompts in the English language.

• Utilize a natural speaking voice with appropriate pronunciation.

• Ensure that the recording is done from a quiet environment.

• Adhere to the provided recording and audio-quality guidelines.

• Submit the finished recordings through the specified project platform.

• Communicate with the project team if any clarification or re-recording is required.

• Contribute to Volga Partners’ research on natural English speech across various language backgrounds, accents, generations, regions, and devices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent English reading and comprehension abilities.

• Comfortable with reading short English sentences and conversational prompts aloud.

• Capability to comprehend and follow written instructions in English.

• Clear and natural vocal delivery.

• Proficiency or strong fluency in at least one of the specified language groups.

• Must be an adult participant within one of the specified age ranges: 18–27, 28–39, 40–54, 55–70, or 71+.

• Access to a reliable, functioning personal device that can record voice.

• Stable internet connectivity.

• A quiet indoor setting for recording.

• Capable devices include smartphones, tablets/iPads, laptops, desktops, or Apple computers for completing the task.

• No prior professional voice, acting, or research experience is necessary.

🏝️ Benefits

• Compensation of $15–$27+ for each completed task.

• An additional $2.00 incentive for participants aged 55–70 or 71+.

• An extra $2.00 incentive for recordings made on an iPad.

• An additional $2.00 incentive for recordings completed on an Apple computer (MacBook or iMac).
