This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +3 more states.
• Establish and manage the technology vendor management office for Managed Services Providers (MSPs).
• Design and implement governance frameworks, which include business and quarterly reviews, contract assessments, risk evaluations, and improvement strategies.
• Create standardized vendor playbooks, SLAs/XLAs, KPIs, escalation procedures, RACI matrices, and performance scorecards.
• Maintain a centralized repository for contracts, statements of work, amendments, obligations, and renewal schedules.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, security, and data privacy standards.
• Develop and oversee a portfolio view of MSP engagements, tracking status, risks, dependencies, financials, and outcomes.
• Facilitate the prioritization of the innovation backlog and conduct retrospectives.
• Monitor the health of programs and report on issues, trends, and recommendations.
• Guide transition and transformation governance for new MSPs or changes in scope.
• Measure and communicate value realization, encompassing cost optimization, service stability, risk mitigation, and productivity enhancements.
• Act as the main point of accountability for vendor performance across the Technology division.
• Facilitate engagement with vendors at the executive level, including escalations, negotiations, and remediation planning.
• Collaborate with leaders in Technology, Security, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and business units.
• Establish data standards and frameworks for vendor performance reporting.
• Own or influence the VMO tooling ecosystem, including ServiceNow, vendor scorecards, and BI/analytics.
• Implement automation and analytics for tracking SLAs, generating reports, and validating invoices.
• Develop dashboards and insights that aid decision-making and enhance service delivery.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
• Over 8 years of experience in vendor management, service delivery management, IT operations, or sourcing within a Technology organization.
• An MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Strong conceptual and analytical thinking abilities.
• Exceptional judgment, troubleshooting skills, problem-solving capabilities, analytical skills, and discretion.
• Capacity to manage work-related stress and juggle multiple priorities at once.
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
