Visual Development Artist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop artwork for the initial storytelling and visual development stages, as well as during production once the visual style is established.

• Produce artwork pertaining to characters, environments, backgrounds, costume, and prop design under the supervision of a Production Designer and Art Director.

• Assist the Story, Modeling, Surfacing, Matte Painting, and Layout teams with design details for locations and camera work.

• Ensure adherence to all project timelines.

• Provide updates on work progress to production personnel.

• Capability to conceptualize and design independently from start to finish.

• Strong grasp of design principles and color theory.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team of artists.

• Excellent time-management skills.

• Proficiency in Photoshop.

• Familiarity with Maya and/or ZBrush is advantageous.
