Visual Designer – E-commerce/Advertising

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Modify existing Figma templates to align with the visual identity and layout of online newspapers, magazines, and media platforms.

• Analyze prospective websites to assess typography, colors, imagery, spacing, and overall composition.

• Develop high-fidelity digital mockups that showcase branded content or advertising experiences within publications.

• Revise typography, color schemes, layouts, and visual framing across pitch materials and presentation assets.

• Prepare visual assets and video frames for tailored sales presentations.

• Occasionally update presentation decks, digital collateral, and various visual materials.

• Collaborate with sales and production teams to produce polished materials within tight deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with Figma and a solid understanding of its layout and design tools.

• Strong visual design capabilities in layout, typography, composition, and color.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to adapt visual assets to various brand identities.

• Experience in creating digital marketing, visual, presentation, or branded content.

• Capacity to work independently and efficiently manage short, project-based assignments.

• Skill in interpreting existing visual direction and translating it into polished, cohesive assets.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Based in Latin America (LATAM).

• Availability for part-time work, approximately 20 hours per week.

• Experience with online publications, digital advertising, editorial design, marketing, or media brands is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of motion design or animation is a plus.

• Familiarity with digital publishing environments, advertising formats, or editorial website layouts is a plus.

• Experience with Figma's Auto Layout, components, variants, and shared libraries is a plus.

• Background in high-volume visual adaptation or production workflows is a plus.
