This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark.

📋 Description

• Promote the Alcon Vision Suite throughout Denmark and Norway.

• Sell Alcon’s portfolio of visualization and diagnostic products.

• Consistently engage with customers and cultivate relationships to drive sales and achieve targets.

• Demonstrate advanced surgical equipment and resolve any issues that arise.

• Seek opportunities within the ophthalmology market.

• Increase sales and market share across digital visualization, microscopy, and diagnostic portfolios.

• Work collaboratively with IOL Managers, Account Managers, Surgical Equipment Managers, Vitreoretinal Managers, and other sales specialists to identify targets and prospects.

• Serve as the primary end-to-end specialist contact for visualization and diagnostic systems.

• Promote, demonstrate, and train healthcare professionals on surgical visualization and diagnostic equipment in operating rooms and clinics, in partnership with Digital Connectivity Champions.

• Drive equipment penetration and upgrades in alignment with the Salesforce account plan.

• Adhere to SOPs and the medical device regulatory framework.

• Generate initial quotes for the portfolio, excluding EFAs and leases, and forward quotes to Account Managers for deal closure.

• Monitor and report competitor activities while mapping competitive devices, digital platforms, and services within accounts.


⛳️ Requirements

• A background in ophthalmology.

• Knowledge of connectivity and digitalization within the Clinic & OR.

• Proficient understanding of visualization, digital diagnostics, and workflow.

• A strong proactive and hunter mentality.

• Capacity to collaborate with other Alcon representatives to generate leads.

• Ability to conduct demonstrations with support from Technical Service and CAS.

• Capability to deliver deals involving equipment, IOLs, and services.

• Essential sales experience within an operating theatre environment dealing with capital equipment.

• Significant experience in the private sector, building networks and relationships with Clinical and Non-Clinical KOLs.

• Preferred experience in microscopy and/or audiovisuals and diagnostics.

• Strong collaboration skills within cross-functional teams and a matrix organization.

• Excellent technical and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.

• A university degree or equivalent qualification.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical devices and/or in a surgical setting, preferably within ophthalmology.
