This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
β’ Provide virtual telehealth acute care to members experiencing emergent or critical illnesses.
β’ Diagnose intricate medical conditions.
β’ Order and analyze diagnostic tests.
β’ Develop care plans and prescribe suitable medications.
β’ Evaluate quality-of-care interventions along with social, home health, and durable medical equipment needs.
β’ Collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, primary care physicians, specialists, pharmacy, clinical nursing, social work, and other Devoted team members to ensure coordinated care.
β’ Utilize Devotedβs electronic health information system and offer feedback to enhance the interface.
β’ Engage in weekend on-call support for clinical nurses in specific regions.
β’ Assist in the development of new clinical and organizational programs and initiatives as the role progresses.
β’ Incorporate innovative virtual care practices.
β’ Minimum of three years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), ideally in acute care settings, urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary/internal medicine with substantial acute management.
β’ Must be available to work four 10-hour shifts weekly, including one weekend shift per month.
β’ Working hours are from 11am to 9pm EST.
β’ For Nurse Practitioners: active and in-good-standing Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licenses required.
β’ For Physician Assistants: an active and in-good-standing Physician Assistant license is necessary.
β’ Required licensure and certification must be in good standing.
β’ Capability to obtain licenses in requested states within 90 days of the hire date.
β’ Willingness to pursue licenses in additional states as required.
β’ Background in primary care, internal medicine, urgent care, emergency room settings, and/or geriatrics.
β’ Experience conducting visits via telehealth video platforms.
β’ Proficiency in managing acute and chronic disease exacerbations, including congestive heart failure (CHF), diabetic emergencies, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) exacerbations, and hypertensive crises.
β’ Adaptability, enthusiasm for learning, and comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
β’ Flexibility in scope of practice and readiness to tackle new challenges.
β’ Bilingual in Spanish and English is advantageous.
