Virtual Teacher, Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five or more hours each day on all scheduled instructional days.

• Develop an engaging and structured virtual classroom environment.

• Utilize student performance data to tailor instruction, pinpoint learning gaps, and modify teaching approaches.

• Offer timely and constructive feedback on student assignments.

• Keep precise records of student progress.

• Foster relationships with students and families through proactive communication.

• Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality support for students.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related discipline.

• Valid state teaching license in Minnesota and/or Kansas for Global Languages: Spanish, grades 6–12.

• Experience in teaching within virtual and/or in-person environments.

• Comfortable handling the demands of a live online classroom.

• Capability to teach live on camera for five or more consecutive hours each instructional day.

• Practical experience with online learning platforms, virtual teaching tools, and standard productivity software.

• Proficient in interpreting student performance data to adjust instructional methods.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.

• Effective time management skills to independently oversee a full student caseload in a remote setting.

• Dedication to professional development, maintaining certification, and keeping abreast of K–12 curriculum, technology, and best practices.

• Openness to taking on evolving responsibilities as required by business needs.
