Virtual Teacher of Record, MN Certified

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Act as the academic liaison for the family.

• Collaborate with Fullmind's operations/enrollment team, the academic lead on standards, the district registrar regarding records, and the district SPED case manager as needed.

• Serve as the responsible signatory for academic and compliance documents.

• Examine weekly student reflection/engagement logs to generate and assess attendance records.

• Ensure that attendance and grading records are thorough, precise, and ready for reporting on a weekly basis.

• Confirm each student's schedule and curriculum maps align with current Minnesota standards.

• Monitor progress toward grade-level benchmarks.

• Address academic and instructional inquiries.

• Work with the district-assigned case manager to ensure that platform accommodations and services are properly implemented.

• Conduct online assessments when necessary.

• Provide virtual instruction and assist students in completing their courses.

• Guide and support Homeschool Extension families throughout their educational experiences.

• Assist families in making informed decisions regarding curriculum, resources, and instructional methods.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States.

• Hold a valid Minnesota teaching license.

• Familiarity with Minnesota standards and assessment/compliance requirements is essential.

• Comfortable with SIS coordination and documentation processes.

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is required.

• Must have access to a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet connection.

• Participation in a virtual skills demonstration is necessary.

• A background check must be submitted as part of the application process.

• Preference will be given to candidates with additional certifications in Students with Disabilities and/or Middle School.
