Virtual Teacher, CTE-Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide live, on-camera synchronous instruction for a minimum of five hours each scheduled instructional day.

• Develop an engaging and well-structured virtual classroom environment.

• Utilize student performance data to tailor instruction and pinpoint learning gaps.

• Modify teaching strategies to accommodate the unique needs of individual students.

• Offer timely and constructive feedback on student assignments.

• Keep accurate records to ensure students and families are informed and on track.

• Foster relationships with students and their families through professional and proactive communication.

• Work collaboratively with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality student support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related discipline.

• Valid state teaching license in Texas and/or Pennsylvania in CTE-Technology for grades 6-12.

• Experience teaching in both virtual and in-person environments.

• Comfortable managing the demands of a live online classroom.

• Ability to teach live on camera for five or more consecutive hours each instructional day.

• Practical experience with online learning platforms, virtual instruction tools, and standard productivity software.

• Capable of interpreting student performance data and utilizing it to modify instruction.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Highly organized and self-motivated, with effective time management skills to oversee a full student caseload remotely.

• Dedication to professional development, maintaining certification, and staying updated on K-12 curriculum, technology, and best practices.

• Openness to taking on changing responsibilities in response to business needs.
