Virtual SLP, Speech Language Pathologist, K-12 Schools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Provide captivating, high-quality speech and language instruction via Teletherapy (Telespeech)

• Assess students' speech and language proficiency and convert findings into clear, actionable objectives

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each student's IEP

• Record session details and monitor progress toward IEP objectives

• Collaborate with school-based personnel, teachers, case managers, and administrators to synchronize on student progress

• Adhere to the school district's calendar

• Commence assignments once the application process is finalized and placements are available

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an active state SLP license issued by the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (ABESPA)

• Must maintain good standing with no disciplinary actions on any held licenses

• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for assessment and teletherapy delivery in a school/IEP setting

• Reliable, FERPA-compliant technology setup: webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, private/distraction-free workspace

• Comfortable working collaboratively in a remote environment with classroom teachers, case managers, and families

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
