Virtual Primary Care Physician – Cross Cover

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Become a member of the Virtual Primary Care Float team, providing support to Primary Care clinics throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington.

• Deliver high-quality and comprehensive primary care via telephonic and video consultations.

• Oversee a dedicated patient panel consisting of individuals aged 18 and older.

• Offer virtual care services to regional Kaiser Permanente members.

• Support primary care clinics across the entire region.

• Collaborate with an integrated team of physicians, as well as clinical and administrative staff.

• Work alongside specialists through Northwest Permanente’s integrated healthcare model.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is required.

• A minimum of three years of experience in providing direct patient primary care following residency training.

• Candidates for fully remote virtual roles must be residents and practice in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, or Texas.

• Candidates must be situated outside of Northwest Permanente’s regional service area.

• Must be available to commence work within three months of receiving an offer.

• Experience with telehealth and digital health technologies, or the ability to adapt and integrate virtual care into practice.

• Capability to deliver high-quality and comprehensive care.

• Skill in managing a dedicated panel of patients aged 18 and older.
