Virtual Primary Care Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide scheduled and on-demand virtual primary care through video consultations and asynchronous messaging.

• Offer treatment to patients via telehealth, including video sessions, panel management, and message-based care.

• Oversee acute, chronic, and preventive/well visits to address a diverse range of patient requirements.

• Adhere to established clinical protocols and standard work for evidence-based care.

• Engage in weekly Clinical Rounds and participate in other continuous-learning initiatives.

• Collaborate with team members and leadership through daily huddles.

• Provide collaborative oversight for 4–8 NP or PA colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successfully completed an accredited residency program in Internal or Family Medicine.

• Have practiced for a minimum of 2 out of the last 5 years in a primary care or virtual primary care environment.

• Hold Board Certification in Internal or Family Medicine.

• Possess an active state license in California, New York, or the District of Columbia.

• Maintain a minimum of 15 state licenses.

• Willing to obtain and sustain additional licenses with assistance from the One Medical Credentialing Team.

• Experience in virtual care and/or virtual primary care is preferred.

• Capable of communicating with and providing care to individuals from all backgrounds.

• Proficient in effectively utilizing technology to deliver high-quality care.

• Demonstrate clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care.

• Show a passion for human-centered primary care and a desire to be part of a healthcare delivery team.

• Open to feedback and self-reflection.

• Able to navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues.

• Exhibit adaptability and flexibility in a clinical organization focused on growth.
