Virtual Physician Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide care to patients via telehealth services, including phone triage, video consultations, and email follow-ups.

• Engage in weekly Clinical Rounds and other ongoing education activities.

• Work collaboratively with both virtual and in-office colleagues through daily meetings.

• Utilize clinical knowledge to deliver outstanding virtual patient care.

• Coordinate virtual clinical services with patients’ primary care providers.

• Offer evidence-based care through a collaborative team approach, available 24/7, year-round.

⛳️ Requirements

• A master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS) is required.

• Must possess active NCCPA certification.

• A minimum of 2 years of Advanced Practitioner experience in the last 5 years in outpatient primary care or in urgent care/emergency medicine, treating patients of all ages.

• Current licensure in DC, MD, VA, or FL, with the capability to acquire additional state licenses.

• For candidates in FL: must hold Autonomous APRN status.

• For candidates in VA: must have Autonomous practice status.

• Flexibility to work weekday and weekend shifts, including every other Saturday and/or Sunday.

• Availability to work shifts between 6 am–5 pm ET, 11 am–10 pm ET, or 1 pm–12 am ET.

• Strong clinical and communication abilities.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based primary care.

• Competence in using technology for high-quality care delivery.

• Capacity to communicate and provide care to diverse individuals from various backgrounds.
