Virtual Physician Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide patient care through telehealth consultations, including telephone triage calls, video sessions, and follow-up emails.

• Engage in weekly Clinical Rounds and participate in ongoing educational activities.

• Collaborate with both virtual and in-office colleagues during daily meetings.

• Utilize clinical expertise to deliver outstanding virtual patient care.

• Offer evidence-based virtual medical services in partnership with primary care providers.

• Support patients around the clock, every day of the year, as part of a collaborative virtual medical team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS).

• Current NCCPA certification.

• Minimum of 2 years of Advanced Practitioner experience within the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care environment treating patients of all ages (0+), or experience in urgent care or emergency medicine with patients of all ages (0+).

• Active licensure in MD, DC, or VA, with the capability to secure additional state licenses.

• For Virginia: autonomous practice is mandatory.

• Flexibility to work weekday and weekend shifts, including every other Saturday and/or Sunday.

• Availability for shifts from 6am–5pm ET, 11am–10pm ET, or 1pm–12am ET.

• Strong clinical and communication skills are essential.

• Clinical expertise in evidence-based primary care.

• Proficiency in utilizing technology to provide high-quality care.

• Ability to communicate and deliver care to individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Willingness to accept feedback and engage in self-reflection.

• Competence in managing uncertain situations with patients and colleagues.

• Readiness to adjust behavior to accommodate patient needs.

• Authorization to work in the U.S., verified through E-Verify.
