Virtual Physician Assistant – AL Licensed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Provide patient care through telehealth appointments, which includes telephonic triage, video consultations, and email follow-ups.

• Engage in weekly Clinical Rounds and participate in ongoing educational activities.

• Work collaboratively with both virtual and in-office colleagues during daily huddles.

• Utilize clinical expertise to deliver outstanding virtual patient care.

• Offer virtual clinical services around the clock, 365 days a year, as part of a team-oriented approach.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of a Master’s Degree from an accredited physician assistant program (MSPAS).

• Possession of an active NCCPA certification.

• At least two years of practice as a PA in an outpatient primary care environment serving patients of all ages (0+), or two years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting with a similar patient demographic within the last five years.

• Current licensure in Alabama with the capability to obtain additional state licenses.

• Flexibility to work weekday and weekend shifts.

• Availability for shifts that range from 11 am to 10 pm EST or 12 pm to 11 pm EST.

• Strong clinical and communication skills.

• Clinical expertise in evidence-based primary care.

• Proficiency in utilizing technology to deliver high-quality care.

• Ability to interact with and provide care for individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Competence in navigating uncertain circumstances with patients and colleagues.

• Willingness to adjust behavior to accommodate patient needs.

• Authorization to work in the U.S. confirmed through E-Verify.
