This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
β’ Deliver personalized virtual navigation and comprehensive support to students enrolled in the online BS in Psychology program.
β’ Offer coaching and tailored assistance to faculty and students regarding the effective utilization of Canvas.
β’ Engage in proactive outreach based on student needs, institutional data, early alerts, inquiries, and potential challenges.
β’ Evaluate student requirements and connect them with academic, administrative, financial, technological, career, and other student-support resources.
β’ Aid students in navigating University processes and finding approved information and services.
β’ Link students with tutoring, academic assistance, financial aid, registration, technology support, career services, certification preparation, and additional relevant services.
β’ Retain ownership of student cases through follow-ups; monitor referrals and assess whether obstacles were addressed.
β’ Identify students at risk and coordinate timely interventions with University offices.
β’ Support the AITLS Graduation Initiative by reaching out to students facing barriers to degree progression.
β’ Utilize the project's AI-powered chatbot and associated technology as supplementary student-support tools.
β’ Educate students on digital learning, academic resources, and AI-enabled tools.
β’ Keep detailed case notes, service logs, referral records, follow-up documentation, and student-contact records.
β’ Monitor assigned cases and document outcomes in accordance with Distance Education Success Center procedures.
β’ Participate in case coordination with academic programs, Student Affairs, Financial Aid, Registrar, Information Technology, Digital Learning, career services, and other institutional units.
β’ Escalate complex issues while ensuring continuous student follow-up.
β’ Engage in training sessions related to student navigation, AI literacy, digital learning, student success, institutional resources, FERPA, and University policies.
β’ Assist with student satisfaction surveys, service evaluations, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
β’ Contribute data assessing utilization, referral completion, persistence, retention, and student satisfaction.
β’ Execute related duties that support the goals of the Distance Education Success Center and AITLS.
β’ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in psychology, counseling, education, social work, student affairs, higher education, human services, or a related field.
β’ A minimum of two (2) years of experience in providing student services, advice, case management, navigation, customer service, or related direct-support services.
β’ Proven ability to work effectively with students in an online or technology-enhanced environment.
β’ Experience with Canvas, supporting online college students, adult learners, or students facing academic, financial, or technological barriers is preferred.
