Virtual Middle School ELA Educator – SC Certified

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Instruct 8th grade English Language Arts and implement the school's curriculum using the district's virtual platform.

• Create lesson plans that are in alignment with the class curriculum.

• Encourage creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning setting.

• Engage students and promote their learning through thoughtful, relationship-centered methods.

• Monitor and record student grades and overall performance.

• Participate in district professional development sessions and faculty meetings.

• Collaborate with the in-class facilitator who is physically present with the students.

• Choose from available job openings via the educator portal.

⛳️ Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Must possess an active teaching certification issued by a state in the USA.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional teaching experience is required.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.

• Must have a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and stable internet connection.

• Participation in a virtual skills teaching demonstration is necessary.

• A background check must be submitted as part of the application process.

• Previous online teaching experience is advantageous.
