Virtual Medical Doctor – Telemedicine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.

📋 Description

• Conduct remote consultations with a focus on high-quality, patient-centered care via live video, WhatsApp, or text messaging.

• Review patient symptom summaries and histories generated by AI prior to consultations.

• Provide prompt, accurate, and safe medical advice.

• Maintain precise, detailed, and timely patient records on the proprietary EHR platform.

• Assess when cases can be managed virtually and when immediate physical referrals to a clinic or hospital are necessary.

• Offer clear and accessible health education, treatment plans, and follow-up guidance tailored to the patient's context and language preferences.

• Work collaboratively with medical and engineering teams to enhance clinical protocols and AI models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a valid and current annual practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).

• A minimum of 3 years of active clinical practice following housemanship.

• Strong knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and standard digital documentation practices.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to simplify complex medical terminology into reassuring and easy-to-understand text or video conversations.

• A quiet, professional workspace equipped with a reliable, high-speed internet connection.

• Strong bedside or “webside” manner.

• Ability to establish trust with patients through digital communication channels.
