Virtual Legal Support Assistant – Direct Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Handle sensitive and confidential assignments related to cases from the Firm's physical locations.

• Represent the VLS Department with polished and professional communication in the office.

• Keep Client Case Lists current and organized.

• Receive, save, and distribute incoming mail.

• Download and save court ECF filings following the firm’s naming conventions.

• Process vendor invoices utilizing Chrome River.

• Manage expense reimbursements through Chrome River.

• Execute ad hoc projects such as large PDF bookmarking and OCR tasks.

• Assist with legal functions including new matter reviews, data entry, document organization and naming in iManage, preparation of confidential legal documents, document conversion, text replacement, document comparisons, creation of tables of contents and authorities, mail merges, fillable forms, and editing presentations.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a law firm environment.

• Proficiency in MS Teams is preferred.

• Previous experience working remotely is preferred.

• Familiarity with iManage is preferred.

• Experience with Chrome River is preferred.

• Knowledge of Kofax is preferred.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to work during daytime hours on the specified shift.

• Capability to work full-time, totaling 40 hours per week.

• A mandatory 1-hour lunch break is required.
