Virtual Family Practice Nurse Practitioner – Temporary, GA Licensed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform virtual wellness visits for adults and/or children, including health assessments and associated services.

• Review your patient caseload and prepare the necessary technology for delivering care.

• Manage the daily schedule and collaborate with clinical in-home team members visiting patients' residences.

• Foster welcoming relationships with a diverse range of patients and gather pertinent information.

• Execute health risk assessments, medication evaluations, cognitive screenings, and provide patient education.

• Collaborate with Sprinters to assess vital signs, coordinate blood draws, and address patient requirements.

• Deliver care coordination and management that encompasses preventive care measures, medication oversight, specialist referrals, community resources, and thorough documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

• Hold an active Family Nurse Practitioner License in Georgia.

• Previous experience conducting wellness visits is required.

• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, accountability, confidentiality, care, and compassion.

• Must be willing to engage in last-minute problem-solving and creative thinking.

• Proficiency in technology and comfortable using laptops or mobile devices for charting and HIPAA-compliant messaging applications.

• Possess strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

• Must successfully pass a national background check and valid clinical license verification.

• Virtual experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner will be evaluated during the application process.

• Experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid Annual Wellness Visits will also be assessed in the application.

• Current prescriptive authority in the states where licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner will be evaluated in the application.
