Virtual Clinical Therapist, Evening

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional behavioral healthcare services via telehealth.

• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

• Perform psychological and biopsychosocial assessments and evaluations.

• Create and execute personalized treatment plans.

• Track and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, medical doctors, and other healthcare professionals.

• Conduct suicide risk assessments within required timeframes and consult with clinical leaders.

• Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews to assess length of stay and level of care.

• Identify community resources for treatment and aftercare planning.

• Follow established group curriculum and treatment planning protocols.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health and behavioral concerns.

• Participate in weekly clinical supervision equipped with client updates, case formulations, and inquiries.

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards and legal regulations.

• Stay updated on behavioral therapy and mental health research.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold an independent therapist license in Massachusetts.

• Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related discipline.

• Valid Massachusetts independent licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, or equivalent credential.

• Willingness and capability to obtain additional state licenses as needed.

• Readiness to provide formal clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians if qualified.

• Proven experience in delivering behavioral therapy, counseling, and group therapy.

• Ability to effectively manage clients in virtual settings and adapt interventions for telehealth.

• Proficient and comfortable with HIPAA-compliant video platforms, EMRs, and virtual collaboration tools.

• Familiarity with or eagerness to learn best practices in telehealth, including crisis response and safety planning.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work independently within a distributed virtual team.

• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive virtual group culture.

• Preferred: experience in facilitating group therapy in IOP/PHP/RES/IP settings.

• Preferred: experience in virtual work environments.

• Preferred: 3 years of experience following independent licensure.
