Therapist – Non-licensed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Deliver culturally sensitive individual, family, and group psychotherapy under the guidance of a licensed therapist

• Document therapy treatment plans, interventions, and client responses in accordance with state regulations

• Keep current records of clinical supervision

• Recognize patient conditions and issues and establish diagnoses

• Assess emotional aspects and the effects of health issues

• Assist clients in recognizing their strengths and dysfunctional elements

• Develop comprehensive and coordinated treatment plans

• Conduct client interviews to gather health histories and finalize intake evaluations

• Engage in care plan development, case management, family interventions, and referral processes

• Utilize evidence-based clinical frameworks to manage and support clinical processes and patient advancement

• Oversee clinical caseloads and documentation across various care modalities

• Aid patients in managing or enhancing psychiatric and substance use disorders, along with community functioning and stability

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s Degree in a counseling field (social work, counseling) is mandatory

• 1–3 years of experience in mental health and/or substance use disorders is essential

• 1–3 years of experience in client assessment and delivering individual/family psychotherapy and group therapy is required

• Proven experience in documenting clinical progress throughout the treatment duration is necessary

• Understanding of growth and development across the lifespan

• Capability to assess patient-status data and interpret cultural information

• Familiarity with evidence-based clinical frameworks

• Awareness of mental health or addictive disorder progression

• Knowledge of medical terminology, abbreviations, diagnoses, treatment, and prognosis

• Ability to inspire individuals towards positive change

• Clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities

• Skill to provide clinical assistance, emotional support, skill development, and essential clinical care

• Capacity to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality of client records

• Ability to create socially and culturally sensitive therapeutic interventions

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Safety-sensitive candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug test following a conditional offer
