Virtual Care Veterinary Technician – Teletriage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +20 more states.

📋 Description

• Interact with members through chat, phone, and video, offering support and education regarding pets' health and wellness.

• Assess medical cases using veterinary expertise, providing recommendations and ensuring the delivery of accurate information.

• Analyze medical records to comprehend patient history and offer informed advice.

• Accurately document in patient records using veterinary terminology.

• Confirm and process prescriptions while ensuring proper follow-up on client requests.

• Provide compassionate client care through chat, phone, and video interactions.

• Adhere to protocols while being flexible in handling unique cases.

• Work collaboratively across functions to enhance processes and systems.

• Engage in continuous learning and skill enhancement to provide outstanding care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician; successfully completed the VTNE.

• Minimum of two years’ experience in small animal veterinary medicine.

• Experience in emergency and specialty veterinary care is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Proficient in navigating multiple computer programs and online platforms.

• Capable of clearly communicating medical information both verbally and in writing.

• Resourceful problem solver who can devise innovative solutions.

• Skilled at managing priorities and tasks efficiently with minimal oversight.

• Possess a curiosity-driven mindset and a willingness to pursue professional growth.

• Maintain a quiet, distraction-free workspace.

• Internet connection with speeds exceeding 100 Mbps for both download and upload.

• Internet latency should be below 10 ms.

• Comfortable sitting and standing at a computer for extended durations.

• Must be eligible to work in one of the specified US states.
