Virtual ASL Educator, Certification Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Instruct the school's curriculum using the district's online platform.

• Create lesson plans that are in line with the class curriculum.

• Inspire creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning setting.

• Engage and support student learning through intentional, relationship-centered methods.

• Monitor student grades and performance metrics.

• Participate in district professional development sessions and faculty meetings.

• Collaborate with the in-class facilitator who is physically present with students.

• Utilize the educator portal to choose the assignments you wish to undertake.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States and hold a current, active teaching certification issued by a USA state in one of the specified areas.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator is required.

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is necessary.

• Must have a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and stable internet access.

• Participation in a virtual teaching demonstration and submission of a background check are required as part of the application process.

• Previous experience in online teaching is advantageous!
