This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Provide education to healthcare providers regarding patient support programs, access, and reimbursement utilizing AbbVie-approved tools and services.

• Act as a subject matter expert on local, regional, and national payer policies and requirements.

• Build and maintain relationships with pertinent providers within the designated territory.

• Communicate clear, concise, and efficient information with Field Reimbursement Managers, HCPs, and other stakeholders.

• Collaborate with sales, market access, and patient services teams to inform HCPs about prescription status and program eligibility.

• Utilize approved resources and data to support HCP education initiatives and improve the patient experience.

• Identify and report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and market access account management teams.

• Lead process-improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency and patient access strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business-related field, or an equivalent qualification is preferred.

• 3–5 years of experience in account management, payer account management, and/or access and reimbursement.

• Comprehensive understanding of payer policy processes, published coverage criteria and documentation, coding, prior authorization, and appeal processes.

• Proven understanding of the rules, regulations, and risks associated with reimbursement support services.

• In-depth knowledge of commercial and governmental payer access dynamics.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to navigate cross-matrix environments.

• Strong critical-thinking skills to assess and prioritize account-level workloads.

• Capability to collaborate with HCPs, Field Reimbursement Managers, sales, market access, and patient service teams.
