Video Quality Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist with video quality operations for Welocalize’s AI-driven multilingual content and localization services

• Address video and system playback challenges

• Recognize trends and suggest both immediate and long-term solutions

• React swiftly and effectively to video-related concerns

• Engage with digital video and audio in a high-volume, fast-paced, and dynamic setting

• Available for scheduled shifts from Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday

• Collaborate with the Welocalize team based in the UK

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in British Sign Language (BSL) is essential

• Strong technical understanding of video and a background in video editing

• Enthusiasm for digital video along with knowledge of the film and television industry

• Comprehensive understanding of common technical challenges in digital video and audio

• 2–4 years of experience in working with digital video

• Capability to troubleshoot video/system playback problems

• Skill in identifying trends and proposing both immediate and long-term solutions

• Proven ability to respond quickly and effectively to challenges

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities

• Familiarity with subscription video content services and their product offerings

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in using spreadsheets

• Valid work authorization for the UK without the need for sponsorship

• Willingness to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced, and changing environment

• Professional or advanced proficiency in an additional language is preferred but not mandatory
