Video Investment Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in negotiating and placing video buys that align with the objectives of the media plan.

• Oversee the execution of video buys, which includes entering and updating schedules as necessary.

• Ensure the accuracy of buy details, budgets, and guaranteed delivery targets.

• Collaborate with trafficking and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of creative assets.

• Provide support for client buy overviews.

• Aid in Upfront and Scatter negotiations through thorough plan analysis, recommendations, and negotiations.

• Keep track of trends in the video marketplace.

• Report on campaign performance against deal terms, client KPIs, and overall objectives.

• Cultivate collaborative relationships with media partners.

• Communicate campaign status, opportunities, and challenges to agency teams and clients.

• Contribute to industry points of view and thought leadership initiatives.

• Work with finance to resolve any media billing discrepancies.

• Adhere to client budgets while achieving set objectives.

• Perform additional assigned duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in buying Converged Television and Digital Video.

• In-depth knowledge of the video landscape, including both legacy and emerging media owners.

• Strong organizational and mathematical abilities.

• Capable of multi-tasking and delivering work within established deadlines.

• Proven ability to build positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Effective collaboration with Creative, Account Management, Finance, and Project Management teams.

• Excellent communication skills within a team environment as well as with outside media representatives and current clients.

• Must be adaptable to a fast-paced environment and comfortable making decisions.
