Video Game Translator, Swedish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

📋 Description

• Convert video game content, including complete titles and game updates, sometimes collaborating with fellow Translators.

• Translate marketing materials and other promotional content associated with games.

• Review the work of other Translators to ensure the highest quality of text.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native Swedish speaker with a passion for languages and a deep appreciation for linguistic and cultural subtleties.

• Proficient in English, enabling effective communication via email with Project Managers and participation in video interviews with our Vendor Manager.

• Capability to issue invoices.

• At least 6 months of experience in translation within the video game, board game, or similar creative industries.

• Freelance registration is recommended.

• Experience in subtitling and Language Quality Assurance (LQA) would be an advantage.
