Video Editor – Long-Form Content

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Edit long-form video content, which includes full episodes, interviews, or training videos.

• Cut, trim, and refine raw footage into completed videos.

• Ensure seamless transitions, appropriate pacing, and high overall video quality.

• Incorporate basic text overlays, graphics, and light effects as necessary.

• Organize video files efficiently.

• Handle revisions based on client feedback.

• Deliver polished final content that aligns with the client’s branding.

• Provide task-specific services aimed at improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions.

• Comply with established timelines, guidelines, and deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in editing long-form video content (e.g., podcasts, interviews, trainings).

• Proficient in video editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.

• Strong grasp of video pacing, transitions, and overall quality standards.

• Capable of splicing, trimming, and cleaning raw footage.

• Experience with adding basic text overlays, graphics, and light effects.

• Fundamental knowledge of audio cleanup and color correction techniques.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage revisions and respond to feedback effectively.

• Good comprehension and communication skills in English.

• Open to candidates from Junior to Senior Level.

• Availability for 10–20 contracted hours per week.

• Must be available Monday through Friday unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

• Availability between 9 AM and 1 PM CST is required.

• Engagement as an independent contractor under a Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work.
