Freelance Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Review, organize, and compile raw footage into refined video content for FyerX's internal marketing and various client brands.

• Produce social media reels, digital advertisements, and corporate videos.

• Craft pacing, sound design, and visual narratives utilizing music, voice-overs, sound effects, basic motion graphics, and text overlays.

• Execute color correction, audio mixing, and format adaptation for digital platforms and aspect ratios, including YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

• Collaborate with marketing strategists, copywriters, and clients to comprehend creative briefs, present rough cuts, and incorporate feedback.

• Maintain organized project files and manage media assets effectively.

• Ensure version control and visual brand consistency across all video projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience as a Video Editor.

• A strong showreel/portfolio that highlights a variety of editing projects.

• A robust showreel showcasing creative storytelling, pacing, and versatility in both short-form and long-form content.

• Advanced skills in industry-standard video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects or motion graphics is highly advantageous.

• Strong technical knowledge of video production principles, color grading, audio synchronization, and export settings for social media platforms.

• Ability to think strategically and solve creative problems effectively.

• Capacity to take a creative brief from raw footage to final execution while aligning with brand objectives.

• Excellent organizational, time-tracking, and project management abilities.

• Proficiency in managing multiple video projects concurrently and meeting stringent deadlines.

• Capability to coordinate effectively with fully remote marketing teams.

• Prior experience with marketing agencies, brands, or production houses is a plus.
