This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the retention strategy and the roadmap for reducing churn, which includes diagnosing cancellation drivers, implementing save flows, managing pause/skip mechanics, overseeing dunning processes, and executing winback initiatives.
• Oversee the subscription platform, member portal, and overall subscription management experience, focusing on the continuous enhancement of the cancellation flow.
• Direct lifecycle marketing efforts across email, SMS, and direct mail, incorporating scheduling, segmentation, creative guidance, and testing strategies.
• Develop and implement cross-sell and upgrade initiatives with specific attach-rate and lifetime value (LTV) objectives.
• Manage the retention profit and loss statement, cohort survival metrics, LTV calculations, rebill revenue, and monthly retention forecasts.
• Evaluate email and lifecycle performance data at the segment, campaign, and cohort levels.
• Coordinate with external vendors and agency partners.
• Build and lead a high-achieving team.
• Collaborate with Member Experience, Data Analytics, Finance, Product, and Creative teams to ensure alignment of retention strategies with AG1's growth objectives.
• 8–12+ years of experience in retention, lifecycle, CRM, or subscription/membership marketing leadership roles.
• Ideally, experience in a business with a substantial recurring-revenue model.
• A strong preference for candidates with a background in e-commerce and/or subscription-based businesses.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable churn-reduction outcomes.
• Proficient in LTV modeling and retention economics.
• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities.
• Practical experience with lifecycle management stacks and experimentation platforms such as Braze, Iterable, or Klaviyo.
• Experience in managing a subscription platform, member portal, or account experience, particularly in designing cancellation flows.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with external vendors and agencies within a lifecycle/CRM framework.
• Experience in scaling a retention team and establishing operational rhythms.
• Exceptional ability to collaborate across departments, including Finance, Data, Product, Member Experience, and Creative.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline.
