Vice President of Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Articulate and convey the product vision and strategy to the Executive Team.

• Convert product strategy into actionable roadmaps, priorities, schedules, and plans.

• Lead and nurture multiple distributed product teams.

• Assess product development progress, identify potential risks, eliminate obstacles, and ensure adherence to commitments.

• Supervise web, native mobile, SaaS, and hardware-enabled product offerings.

• Ensure products are capable of large-scale deployment across thousands of users and complex customer settings.

• Establish and track product metrics, utilizing data to assess performance and prioritize investments.

• Present product strategies, performance metrics, trade-offs, risks, and timelines to executive leadership and stakeholders.

• Foster disciplined product development methodologies and adapt processes to meet business needs.

• Build collaborative partnerships across Product, Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations.

• Enhance tools, systems, and workflows for managing product initiatives and communicating progress effectively.

• Nurture a practical, customer-centric product culture focused on accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in Product Management.

• Proven success in launching and scaling B2B technology products within a fast-paced environment.

• 2+ years in senior leadership positions.

• Extensive product management and leadership experience within a B2B SaaS organization.

• Demonstrated success in leading multiple product teams, including those operating across various regions or countries.

• Experience in developing and delivering complex B2B products in industrial sectors.

• Strong ability to transition from strategy to execution, monitor progress, and achieve measurable results.

• Familiarity with web and native mobile application development, particularly for products scaled to thousands of users.

• Experience with hardware-enabled products and interconnected software ecosystems.

• Solid understanding of SaaS, cloud-based platforms, multi-tenant systems, and the product development lifecycle.

• Technical proficiency to collaborate with engineering teams and comprehend JavaScript, Java, Python, Swift, and Kotlin in product development; production coding is not required.

• Experience in direct communication with senior executives, including C-suite leaders.

• Ability to distill complex qualitative and quantitative information into clear recommendations, priorities, and decisions.

• Proficiency in using advanced product and project management tools for managing tasks, analyzing data, and communicating plans and timelines.

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Figma, Zeplin, or similar platforms.

• Experience in engaging directly with prospective and current customers regarding products, future offerings, and unmet needs.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong people management skills with the ability to coach, develop, and align high-performing teams.

• Analytical, practical, and execution-focused leadership approach.
