Vice President of Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis (FP&A) department of the company, encompassing annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, long-term strategic planning, and sophisticated financial modeling.

• Collaborate with the CFO, Controller, and Executive Leadership Team to create and implement financial strategies that promote company growth and enhance operational efficiency.

• Take a significant leadership role in IPO readiness, which includes S-1 preparation, development of internal controls, audit readiness, and creation of investor-facing financial materials.

• Build and develop a high-performance finance team, ensuring operational excellence, alignment across functions, and a robust internal control environment.

• Act as a strategic partner to functional leaders, offering financial insights that inform business strategy, aid decision-making, and optimize capital utilization.

• Lead the establishment of scalable financial infrastructure, systems, and reporting frameworks to support a high-growth company that may go public.

• Supervise capital allocation, cash flow management, scenario planning, and strategies for mitigating financial risks.

• Ensure precise and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and other applicable standards.

• Assist in fundraising and investor relations initiatives, including financial due diligence and board communications.

• Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of progressive finance experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership capacity at a growth-stage or publicly traded company.

• Demonstrated experience in leading FP&A and financial strategy, including successfully guiding a company through an IPO or public filing process.

• Proven track record of capital raising via private equity, venture capital, or public markets.

• Comprehensive understanding of corporate finance, FP&A, healthcare financial metrics, and readiness for public company operations.

• Successful history of building and managing high-performing teams in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

• Outstanding communication skills and executive presence — capable of influencing at the highest organizational levels and articulating financial strategies clearly.

• Hands-on, strategic thinker with a strong propensity for action and a problem-solving approach.
