This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and negotiate commercial contracts with hospitals, health systems, physician groups, imaging centers, vendors, technology partners, and other strategic entities.
• Draft and negotiate agreements related to professional and diagnostic imaging services, technology and software, data usage, business associate relationships, strategic partnerships, procurement, and various commercial matters.
• Provide guidance to the business on healthcare regulatory issues, including Anti-Kickback, Stark Law, HIPAA, FDA-related concerns, physician arrangements, and other state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical, product, technology, and business teams on regulatory matters linked to new services, products, partnerships, artificial intelligence, and healthcare technology.
• Deliver practical, business-focused legal counsel while managing regulatory, contractual, and operational risks.
• Act as a comprehensive legal resource on employment, corporate governance, compliance, and general business issues.
• Create scalable legal processes, templates, and playbooks.
• Strategically manage outside counsel when specialized expertise is necessary.
• Report to the CEO/Co-Founder and collaborate with senior leadership and teams across the organization.
• J.D. from a recognized law school.
• Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
• Over 12 years of pertinent legal experience.
• Substantial experience in healthcare, digital health, medical technology, healthcare technology, or another highly regulated sector.
• Strong background in healthcare regulations, including knowledge of Anti-Kickback, Stark Law, HIPAA, FDA-related issues, or other legal requirements relevant to healthcare providers and services.
• Extensive experience in commercial contracting.
• Capability to independently structure, draft, and negotiate complex business agreements.
• Experience collaborating with hospitals, health systems, physician organizations, healthcare providers, or healthcare technology companies is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with advising on AI, medical technology, digital health, or other regulated technology is advantageous, but not mandatory.
• Broad legal judgment and comfort in managing or overseeing general corporate, employment, compliance, and other business matters.
• Strong business acumen.
