Vice President, Enterprise PMO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Supervise department personnel, encompassing hiring, performance management, and career development.

• Formulate budgets and set priorities, ensuring plans and resource allocations are aligned accordingly.

• Collaborate with senior leaders both within and outside of the IT department and with strategic suppliers to coordinate organizational plans and activities.

• Evaluate customer requirements and suggest or establish priorities for feasibility studies, systems design, and implementation processes.

• Shift the PMO operating model towards strategic delivery, enhanced transparency, and measurable outcomes.

• Create enterprise standards for project governance, portfolio management, reporting, risk escalation, and accountability in delivery.

• Enhance portfolio performance, aiming to transition approximately 80% of the portfolio to a green status.

• Develop metrics-driven insights into delivery quality, project health, resource demand, and execution risks.

• Promote the adoption of tools, automation, and AI technologies.

• Ensure alignment in delivery across BTS by connecting project managers, program managers, delivery leads, and contractors.

• Bolster organizational capabilities through skill development, coaching, performance management, and setting clear expectations.

• Utilize process and business expertise to influence business outcomes.

• Undertake other responsibilities as assigned.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience is mandatory.

• A minimum of 10 years of diverse IT experience is required.

• Prior experience in managing staff, including hiring, training, workload management, and performance evaluation.

• Proven experience in developing budgets and setting priorities.

• Background in coordinating with senior leaders within IT, external parties, and strategic suppliers.

• Familiarity with project governance, portfolio management, reporting, risk escalation, and accountability in delivery.

• Experience with ServiceNow is considered advantageous.

• Proficient in skill development, coaching leaders, managing performance, and clarifying expectations.

• Equivalent experience should reflect the knowledge, duties, scope, and skills relevant to this position.
