Vice President, Data Solutions – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +25 more states.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the enterprise strategy, creation, and implementation of data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and intelligent automation solutions.

• Develop strategic roadmaps, investment priorities, and performance metrics that align with business goals, regulatory standards, and technological focuses.

• Oversee enterprise data engineering, modern cloud data platforms, data architecture, and the development of reusable data products.

• Create data governance frameworks, standards, and accountability measures for data quality, security, privacy, metadata, lineage, and master data management.

• Collaborate with application teams to design, implement, and promote AI, machine learning, generative AI, and intelligent automation solutions.

• Establish ethical AI practices, governance structures, and operational controls.

• Enhance enterprise analytics, self-service reporting, predictive insights, and data-driven decision-making processes.

• Work alongside business and risk leaders to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain reliable enterprise data.

• Propel measurable advancements in operational efficiency, productivity, customer experience, business growth, and financial results.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline is required.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in technology, data, analytics, or artificial intelligence, including significant experience in executive leadership roles.

• At least 8 years of experience in leading and developing teams.

• Proven experience in leading enterprise data engineering, cloud data platforms, data architecture, governance, and data product development.

• Demonstrated success in developing and executing enterprise AI strategies, including generative AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, and responsible AI governance.

• Extensive experience in translating data and AI investments into scalable business solutions, ensuring production adoption, and achieving measurable operational or financial outcomes.

• Strong knowledge of data security, privacy, regulatory compliance, and technology risk management, ideally within the insurance, financial services, or other regulated sectors.

• Proven ability to formulate enterprise technology strategies, oversee complex portfolios and budgets, and lead cross-functional transformation initiatives.

• Must be able to work remotely from a US-based home.

• Must be willing to travel occasionally.
