Vice President, Clinical Operations – Behavioral Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Manage and oversee all clinical operations, focusing on care management, coordination, and utilization management.

• Define the clinical strategic vision, objectives, policies, and procedures for the business unit.

• Evaluate performance results against set metrics and benchmarks, and suggest opportunities for improvement.

• Act as the subject matter expert and engage in all new implementation processes.

• Supervise utilization and care management across all markets.

• Attend meetings with customers, health plans, and quality improvement teams.

• Manage the generation of reports required by contracts and management.

• Collaborate with different departments to address provider claims issues.

• Ensure that effective care is provided to members while meeting utilization management goals.

• Oversee the annual budget for clinical operations.

• Lead initiatives to enhance staff skills in guiding providers for improved care delivery, including the creation of training programs.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's Degree in Behavioral Health, Psychology, Public Health/Administration, a related field, or an RN license is required.

• A minimum of 8 years of clinical and operations experience in the behavioral health sector is required.

• Previous management experience, including responsibilities for hiring, training, work assignment, and performance management of staff.

• An unrestricted license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PhD, PsyD, or RN is required.

• Equivalent experience gained through relevant knowledge, duties, scope, and skills commensurate with this position's level.
