Vice President, Capital Markets Strategy

📋 Description

• Act as the primary point of contact for advisor clients.

• Effectively communicate Fidelity’s macroeconomic perspective and translate it into portfolio strategies through in-person meetings, digital platforms, and written communications.

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and relationship management teams to deliver investment insights to clients and potential clients.

• Enhance Fidelity’s thought-leadership reputation, boost credibility, and contribute to growth in investment solutions market share.

• Represent Fidelity’s global asset management insights, investment strategies, and asset allocation perspectives.

• Develop and convey investment insights and asset allocation strategies on behalf of sales and relationship management associates.

• Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly commentary on economic, investment, and geopolitical issues.

• Analyze global and market events, providing investment viewpoints informed by both Fidelity and external research.

• Manage a geographical region encompassing roughly one-fifth of the United States, supporting sales and relationship managers along with their clients in that area.

• Transform investment, market, and economic insights into measurable outcomes that align with investment sales objectives.

• Work with a team of investment experts to create unique perspectives and a cohesive team narrative.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in investment management.

• Possession of Series 7 and 63 licenses is mandatory.

• Extensive understanding of capital markets, including equities, bonds, and alternative investments.

• Proven track record of investing through various market cycles.

• Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing market data, macroeconomic trends, and both internal and external investment research.

• Capability to formulate insightful investment strategies.

• Experience in delivering multimedia presentations, which include one-on-one meetings, large-scale presentations, webinars, and media engagements.

• Strong interpersonal skills to engage and influence both external and internal stakeholders.

• Creative ability to write investment commentary, client presentations, social media content, and investment thought-leadership materials.

• Willingness to travel 50-75% of the time.

• Preference will be given to candidates residing in the covered region.

• CFA or MBA credentials are preferred.
