Veterinary Diagnostic Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Take charge of managing the Namur and Luxembourg territory along with its customer base to enhance recurring diagnostic revenue and achieve quarterly sales of medical device equipment.

• Boost the usage of in-house diagnostic tests and assays, instrument consumables, reference laboratory profiles, and advanced tests.

• Collaborate and co-sell with fellow IDEXX sales professionals to finalize capital equipment and technology sales.

• Provide education and training to veterinary clinic staff regarding products, services, marketing strategies, and customer service engagement.

• Keep a thorough and updated knowledge of IDEXX's offerings and services.

• Relay customer requirements and competitive challenges to IDEXX marketing and the business unit manager.

• Collaborate with laboratory operations to address customer inquiries and service challenges.

• Represent IDEXX values in a professional manner while understanding the veterinary industry, practices, customers, technology, operations, and processes.

• Participate in regional trade shows and educational events.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent blend of education and experience.

• A minimum of three years of demonstrated success in managing your own sales territory.

• Experience in territory management sales within the veterinary/animal health sector, Human Healthcare medical device sales, dental device sales, and/or prior capital equipment sales.

• Strong ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, team-oriented sales environment.

• Capability to meet field sales demands, including extensive travel by car, overnight trips as necessary, potential weekend work for trade shows or occasional meetings, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

• Comfort in visiting veterinary clinics and hospital settings.

• Proficiency in English, Dutch, and French.
