Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver empathetic, Fear Free-aligned in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care.

• Offer in-home euthanasia and hospice services for elderly and terminally ill pets.

• Guide and support families through end-of-life choices and procedures.

• Foster relationships with local veterinary clinics as an extension of their services.

• Ensure accurate and timely medical documentation is maintained.

• Collaborate with medical leadership and support teams.

• Engage in ongoing training, education, and clinical development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS) from an accredited veterinary institution.

• Active veterinary license in the state of practice, or the ability to obtain one.

• Valid U.S. driver's license.

• Availability to work some weekends within a rotating schedule.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

• Background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check required post-hire and before the start date.

• Experience in hospice, palliative care, or Fear Free certification is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Compassionate, emotionally intelligent, and focused on client care.

• Comfortable working independently in the field.

• Excellent communication skills in emotionally sensitive situations.
