Vendor Enablement Specialist

📋 Description

• Take ownership of comprehensive case management, coordinating and executing requests from Front End Sales, Portal Administration, and various internal departments via Salesforce and shared inbox channels.

• Oversee supplier onboarding by completing vendor registration forms, intricate client surveys, and setting up portals across client-managed procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, Oracle, GEP, and risk assessment platforms.

• Act as the Super User/Portal Administrator.

• Utilize knowledge of ABB's corporate structure and parent-subsidiary relationships to accurately differentiate client inquiries among ABB Inc., ABB Ltd., and its subsidiaries.

• Monitor and manage several shared inboxes, including notifications for portal administration, purchase order routing, and case management.

• Handle and resolve client inquiries via TalkDesk through the ELSE-Advisory Support Line, managing around 4–6 occasional calls daily.

• Ensure an accurate and compliant supplier presence across client procurement systems.

• Control user access across managed platforms for Front End Sales, Accounting, Contracts, Cyber, and Data specialists.

• Identify and rectify platform access issues, registration conflicts, duplicate accounts, and routing challenges.

• Collaborate with Accounting and Finance to address discrepancies in purchase orders and invoicing.

• Analyze and complete complex client questionnaires and vendor surveys, working with subject matter experts in HSE, Legal, Risk Management, Cyber/Data/Security, Integrity, and Sustainability.

• Coordinate with Risk Management to acquire and upload insurance certificates and compliance documentation to client portals.

• Collaborate across ELSE-Advisory Services and other ABB divisions to resolve client platform conflicts and establish best practices.

• Execute client policy acknowledgments and compliance confirmations when signature authorization is unnecessary.

• Provide client-facing communication and support Front End Sales during client calls.

• Maintain vendor registration documentation for historical tracking and audit preparedness.

• Contribute to ISO-compliant process documentation for scalability and succession planning.

• Assist with user access, site, and region creation in ViewPoint.

• Monitor request volume, trends, and resolution patterns; recommend process enhancements, track risks, and relay findings to management.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required along with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.

• A minimum of 2 years in a similar Sales role.

• Strong understanding of sales operations within electrification services.

• Preferred knowledge of customer problems, needs, and challenges, along with industry-specific insights.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
