Valuation Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform collateral evaluations of third-party valuation documents, including appraisals, BPOs, assessments, and other valuation products.

• Base evaluations on valuation, intricacy, and risk considerations.

• Complete review documentation utilizing research from online real estate platforms and public records.

• Conduct and record comprehensive property market value assessments, including those for high-value and complex properties.

• Present results to the Vice President of Valuation.

• Recognize training requirements, mentor team members, and advocate for quality and productivity benchmarks.

• Work in partnership with Valuations and Sales departments to synchronize performance expectations and departmental objectives.

• Support the VP of Valuation and Team Lead in pinpointing performance deficiencies and suggesting corrective measures.

• Manage confidential and sensitive information while safeguarding personal, loan, business, financial, and proprietary data.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience equivalent to that is required; relevant experience is highly preferred.

• 4 to 8 years of experience in real estate valuation is required.

• Proven experience in appraisal review and collateral analysis.

• More than 3 years of collateral appraisal review experience in a lender or AMC setting is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with USPAP and Appraiser Independence Requirements.

• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.

• Strong valuation capabilities.
