This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +27 more states.
• Examine health insurance claims and bills to guarantee proper claims resolution
• Follow up on claims that remain unresolved
• Facilitate the payment of claims for Veterans' Affairs and its related organizations
• Participate in comprehensive instructor-led training that includes interactive discussions and hands-on activities
• Actively engage in training sessions while remaining on camera
• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls
• Achieve personal productivity and performance targets
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Technical capability to navigate multiple computer screens and software applications simultaneously
• Ability to maintain strong performance in a fast-paced environment with established productivity metrics
• Capacity to stay organized while multitasking
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Investigative mindset
• Previous experience in a professional office setting
• Basic knowledge of insurance billing is advantageous, but not mandatory
• Experience in billing and appealing denied health claims is a plus, but not essential
• Private workspace free from distractions
• Reliable internet connection
• Home internet speeds of over 20 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
• Must reside in the United States within one of the designated states
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Employment history verification and successful background screening required
• Ability to be on camera during training and work hours
• Full attention during scheduled work hours and capability to meet productivity expectations
• Proficiency in managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls while adhering to accuracy and productivity standards
