This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the entire design process, from strategy and research to final implementation.
• Create and present design insights and solutions that improve product usability and enhance the brand experience.
• Work collaboratively with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to co-develop design briefs and convert requirements into actionable design goals.
• Generate UX/UI deliverables, including wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze market trends to inform design decisions.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers.
• Ensure adherence to brand and accessibility standards across all digital platforms.
• Engage in design reviews, present concepts, and sway stakeholder opinions.
• Investigate new tools, methodologies, and trends to enhance design quality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field AND four (4) years of professional experience in UX/UI design, ideally within healthcare or regulated industries; OR a High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution AND eight (8) years of relevant professional experience in UX/UI design, preferably in healthcare or regulated sectors.
• Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and various prototyping platforms.
• Strong knowledge of design systems, accessibility guidelines, and principles of responsive design.
• Capability to work autonomously with minimal oversight while managing multiple projects at once.
• Ability to influence and unite diverse stakeholders.
• Travel requirement: 10%.
